About Aroga
At Aroga Home Care, we believe that the quality of care is defined by the relationship behind it.
For families navigating care decisions, what often matters most isn’t just credentials or services, it’s trust, consistency, and the feeling that their loved one is truly known. That belief is what shaped Aroga from the beginning and continues to guide how we support every client and family we serve.
We approach care differently. Rather than focusing on tasks alone, we prioritize thoughtful caregiver matching, continuity, and a more personalized experience that allows care to feel natural, not transactional.
Meet Bethany Azara, RN and Founder
Bethany Azara, Founder of Aroga Home Care Services and Registered Nurse in Charlotte, North Carolina
Bethany Azara is a registered nurse and the founder of Aroga Home Care Services, as well as a managing partner of Magnolia Estates and Community. She has spent her entire nursing career in senior care, driven by an early recognition that, across settings, whether in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, or at home, care often fell short of what seniors truly needed and deserved.
Early in her career, Bethany worked in a small, upscale assisted living community where she helped facilitate and maintain a high standard of care. There, she experienced what it looks like when care is done well, thoughtful, well-supported, and deeply personal. That environment helped shape her high standards and reinforced her belief that quality care should feel both consistent and human.
After relocating to North Carolina and becoming more involved in home health and in-home care, she began to see a clear gap. While many families preferred to keep their loved ones at home, the care being delivered often lacked the consistency, personalization, and reliability she had come to expect. Caregivers changed frequently, relationships were difficult to build, and families were often left trying to hold everything together, leading to fragmented experiences and poorer outcomes.
Aroga was created to change that.
Her client-centered approach is rooted in the belief that the quality of care lives in the relationship, where trust, consistency, and genuine connection shape the experience just as much as clinical skill.
